LEV Examination & Testing

Regulation 9 of the COSHH Regulations requires that local exhaust ventilation systems should be thoroughly examined and tested at least once every 14 months to ensure that they remain effective.

The following factors are included in our assessments:

• Volume flow rates
• Duct transport velocities
• Face velocities
• Capture distances
• The system operating conditions
• Ascertain the effectiveness of the l.e.v. from observations and smoke tests
• Examine and inspect the systems for damage or malfunction
• A concise report the findings
